Hi! we're carla & kristen
Our story began in 2012 when we became college roommates! Throughout our four years at school, we planned a bunch of weekend, spring break, and study abroad trips with our friends. Our common love of travel continued to grow after graduation. One day we realized that we both aspired to share our planning and travel tips with the world, and voila! Passports & Pursuits was born.
Mission Statement
Our goal is to embody the “go-to” friend that you ask for recommendations when planning your next trip. Research is our passion, and we’ve tirelessly sorted through all the noise out there to bring you expertly-crafted travel guidance and recommendations, even providing the logistics information that isn’t so glamorous but yet is entirely essential. We want our readers to spend more time experiencing new things and less time worrying about the planning aspect. So, go on and get out there! We’ll take care of the rest.
